I found this module to be interesting and informative because exploring 'Blogs' was new to me. It felt good to be able to create my own blog and I now look forward to using this method of communication with my peers.
It will not be very easy to use blogs to communicate with all students at the language centre at this stage as some students have not yet mastered the use of basic internet tools. Some are experiencing difficulties getting completely on board in terms of internet usage due to issues such as cost, or too many siblings to share the use of one computer. Furthermore some students are still in the 'pre web1.0' stage ( is there a name for Pre IT skills stage ?) Maybe we can call it web 0.0 ... But with the passage of time we could teach blogging and its usage to our students .
I plan to further explore the educational use blogs and the privacy issues associated with blogging.
